John is a licensed Physical Therapist and lifelong golfer who specializes in Golf Conditioning, Injury Prevention and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. He is included among the Titleist Performance Institute’s Approved Fitness Professionals.
John utilizes his education in biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise physiology and knowledge of the game to design scientifically sound, practical and customized programs that optimize golf specific flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. He works one on one with each client and realizes that while all golfers can benefit from a golf specific conditioning program everybody is different. Juniors, seniors, men, women, and those with a history of injury have unique strengths and weaknesses that need to be addressed.

More than 15 years experience working with both recreational and elite athletes from most sports as well as kids and adults of all ages and backgrounds.
Former owner of JMHinds Physical Therapy in El Segundo, California.
Served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Men’s Golf Team at El Camino College in Torrance California.
Served as the Strength and Conditioning consultant for the GolfTEC Learning Centers in El Segundo, Westwood and Santa Monica California.
He performs gait analysis for runners and offers clinics and lectures on various topics including Golf Conditioning, Injury Prevention, Stretching, and Common Injuries in the Triathlete.
Other sports conditioning specialties includes work with runners and triathletes.
John graduated from California State University Northridge where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science in 1990. He studied Biomechanics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. John has played sports all his life and continues to golf, run, strength train, mountain bike, and participate in the occasional triathlon. His #1 passion is spending time with his wife Carlyn and daughter Lily.
